Music, Photography, and Other Pursuits

When I was a young kid, I got hit in the eyelid (so glad I blinked) by a bb gun doing stupid things with a neighbor kid. I spent a week in the hospital with patches on my eyes allowing the eye to heal itself with some additional work by the docs. I don’t know how my parents paid for that. It must have cost them a fortune.

When I finally got home, I ran and got my guitar and started playing music. Someone took this pic and I thought I had lost it and it was gone forever. I found a negative where I had copied this pic 40 years ago or more. I used my iPad as a light table and took a pic of the negative and this old pic has been saved.

Music continues to rescue me every day, but today it’s a mandolin not an old Stella guitar.
